My drift strategy for this upcoming drift walk is to take a map of the Freedom Walk in Boston, MA, and overlay it onto a map of Milwaukee. The reason I chose the Boston Freedom Walk is because Boston was a big part of my childhood, and the Freedom Walk was something I really enjoyed, along with a significant part of American history.
My start point will be in the Shops of Grand Avenue on Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Milwaukee. I'm led to believe that by starting in such a busy spot, my transitions from soundscape to soundscape will be very noticeable, and more appealing and interesting to the listener. The rest of my walk will take me across the river via Wells St., meander over to Milwaukee Ave where I'll stay for a while, and eventually work its way north back up to the river.
